What a Hotel-Grade Changeover Actually Looks Like

By Carl McGlasson· Founder, Cumbria Bright ·

There’s a difference between a property that’s been cleaned and a property that’s ready for a guest paying £200 a night. After more than 1,000 turnovers across the Lakes, we’ve learned exactly where that line sits.

The changeover window is the whole game

Most West Cumbria lets run Saturday to Saturday. Checkout at 10, check-in at 4 — and in that window the property has to go from lived-in to flawless. There’s no slack for a missed detail, because the next guest photographs what they find.

A changeover isn’t a clean with a deadline. It’s a reset — linen, consumables, presentation, damage check — executed in a fixed window, every single week.

What our standard includes

Priced per job, not per hour

Every changeover is priced for the property, not the clock. You know the cost before we start, and it doesn’t creep when a guest leaves a mess.
